Although you can still visit and enjoy the Philippines during the wet season between May and October, the weather in this period is a little bit unpredictable. You should expect sudden rainfalls in the wet season and therefore plan your trip accordingly.

The period from late August till the end of October is the typhoon season. Therefore, you may want to avoid travelling during these period. However, if you would like to avoid the crowds and pricey accommodation and plane tickets, you may choose to book you honeymoon in the shoulder months of May and November; when there are fewer tourists and the weather is still pleasant. If you are on a tight budget, these months might be the best time to visit the Philippines for you.
